The Mil-Tec GI Boonie Hat Khaki is made of 100% cotton, contrary to the description which claims it is a cotton/poly blend. It may be difficult to break in due to the material. The hat is made in Germany but it is not military grade as some might expect. It fits well and has been used on multiple canoe trips, although it is still being broken in. It is recommended to measure your head and order accordingly, as it may run small. The hat feels thin and may not last long with daily use, but overall it is comfortable and of good quality.
