The CATEYE Universal Cadence Magnet is a disappointment for many customers. The sticky part on the back is not sticky enough, and some users had to resort to using two-sided tape to secure it for cable tying. The magnet falls off easily, and customer service from Cat eye has been unresponsive for the past two years. Additionally, Cat eye no longer includes cadence on their cycling computers, which is a significant drawback for serious cycle enthusiasts. On the positive side, it fits into the pedal bolt hole on the crank arm and works well. It is easy to put on and is strong enough to trip the switch. If you need a cadence part or any Cat eye part, it may be best to purchase from Amazon.
