thinkcar OBD-II Engine System Diagnostic Tools Editorial Review
THINKCAR ThinkScan TK689 Car Diagnostic Tool is an advanced automotive scanner designed for both professionals and dedicated DIY mechanics. It features an 8-inch responsive touchscreen with a native resolution of 1280x800, ensuring clarity while navigating diagnostics. Users appreciate its bidirectional capability, allowing not only the reading of data but also the execution of active tests and commands on vehicle systems. With WiFi connectivity for seamless updates and an inbuilt Chrome browser for instant fault code research, it's a tool that saves time and enhances diagnostics. Reviews highlight its ease of use and functionality, making it invaluable for diagnosing engine management light issues, and detecting faults that cheaper scanners may miss. Some users have noted a downside regarding the length of the OBD lead, suggesting Bluetooth as a preferred option, yet the strong build and included features like a carrying case make this tool a worthy investment for anyone serious about vehicle repairs.
