Genevieve Gornichec Format: Kağıt Kapak Editorial Review
**** "Witch's Heart" captivates readers with its deep dive into Scandinavian mythology, specifically the tales surrounding Ragnarok. Contrary to the initial impression of being a typical young adult novel suited for teenage girls, this book impresses with its intricate narrative and rich mythological references. Reviewers commend its ability to weave together legendary figures like Loki and Angrboda through engaging dialogues, although some found the beginning slightly slow. As the story progresses, readers quickly become engrossed in the compelling retelling of creation myths, highlighting the author's talent in bringing these ancient tales to life. Fans of mythological stories and those who appreciate emotional depth in reading material are likely to find this book especially touching, with many noting that it evoked strong feelings and kept them guessing until the end. While some critics argue that while it's entertaining, its literary value might not be as profound as other works, many agree it’s a worthwhile read for those interested in Greek and Roman mythology, particularly in a Nordic context. Overall, "Witch's Heart" receives a positive reception for its originality and engaging storytelling, ensuring readers walk away with a wealth of knowledge about Norse mythology embedded within an enthralling narrative. **
