The EX 7 Band EQ Equalizer Mini Guitar Pedal is a low-budget friendly device for tone crafting. The pedal provides a unity gain with all the sliders set at the center. The frequency sliders can boost above unity or reduce the volume at their respective frequencies. The input and output impedance is the same as any standard stomp box. As per the reviews and feedback, this pedal is optimized for guitar, but can work for singing through an amp or a stereo. However, it is not recommended for real-life PA. The pedal works great with TS mono patch cables. Although the Boss GE-7 is Considered a higher dollar investment that lasts for decades, the EX sounds decent and is an excellent option for those with a limited budget and space.
