The Fox Run 4512 Rosette Set is a 4-piece set of cast-aluminum molds that are perfect for making delicious and beautiful rosettes and timbales. The molds work very well, and heating the mold in the oil used to fry them before dipping the mold into the batter helps the batter to start cooking and makes it easier to remove the rosette or timbale from the mold. The aluminum molds conduct heat much better than cast iron molds and are much easier to use. The results with the aluminum molds are better overall. There is no recipe included, so one would have to go to an online source for recipe ideas.
