Maybe Someday is the first book in the Maybe Someday Series by Colleen Hoover. The author uses real-life stories to create a love story that is relatable to most readers. The book follows Sydney Blake and Ridge Lawson, two well-developed characters who are perfect for the story. Hoover tells the story from both of their perspectives, which adds vividness to the book. The characters were strong, committed, and honest, and their relationship was complicated with many obstacles. However, it was this complication that truly showed the depth of their feelings for each other, making readers root for their happy ending. Furthermore, the music component of the story where characters wrote lyrics about their feelings was an amazing idea that tugged at the readers' heartstrings. The book elicited emotions of love, heartache, honesty, and even lying. It was an emotional and captivating read with a HEA that fans of contemporary romance and NA would love.
