The Cloud III gaming headset offers a comfortable and immersive gaming experience, particularly for PC users. The headset is praised for its comfort, with some even claiming it to be more comfortable than its predecessor, the Cloud II. The sound quality is also highly regarded, with some users noting that the microphone quality is better than before. One of the standout features of the Cloud III is the new onboard controls for volume and muting. Unlike the Cloud II, where controls were only accessible through the cable when plugged into a PC, the Cloud III allows for easy adjustment of volume and muting directly on the headset. This is especially convenient for Console users who previously needed alternate methods to adjust volume or mute. However, there are a few drawbacks to Consider. Some users have noted that they occasionally miss the LED mute indicator, only realizing they are muted after attempting to speak. Additionally, one user reported that the new mute button causes an uncomfortable static noise when muting and unmuting, unlike the quiet switch on the controller of the Cloud II. Another slight disappointment is the lack of accessories compared to the Cloud II. Specifically, the Wind Muff and Pop Filter, which help reduce background noise, are missing. This has resulted in some users' breathing and fan noises being audible to their friends during gameplay.
