The Presidium Gem Indicator PGI is a reliable and easy-to-use thermal conductivity tester for gemstones. The product comes with a USB socket for updating from Presidium's web page, and it also includes one plate with two circles that can calibrate the device to 99.9% accuracy. The names of the gemstones that can be identified by this tester, which are sapphires, diamonds, and topaz, are listed in the booklet that comes with the product. However, the device can only identify gems with distinct thermal conductivity characteristics, and gems with overlapping characteristics may not be identified.
