The plastic parts are BPA-free, and the keep-warm function keeps tea warm for as long as needed. The product heats water quickly and is easy to clean. However, some users have reported water leakage from the bottom of the kettle after a few months of use. There have also been reports of unstable wobbling of the bottom part of the tea maker which can be dangerous due to its high temperature. The manufacturer has confirmed that the product is made in China and all electric products in the US are 120V.
