The midiplus Smartface 2 audio interface is reasonably priced with good Construction and straightforward operation. However, a reviewer noted that the knobs seem a touch flimsy and there is no headroom for output level. When the channel and master knobs were at maximum, they were getting under 0db in their audio software, which limits the audio leveling process later. Another reviewer had issues with the sound quality as there was too much noise and only one output worked. It was also noted that the USB output could have been stronger. Nonetheless, the interface is great for personal podcasts and recording at home for fun but may not have the audio quality for professional use.
