Arithmetic Editorial Review
**Editorial Review** Math Mammoth has emerged as a highly praised curriculum for homeschooling families, particularly for those children who face challenges in math. Parents have reported a transformative experience, noting that their children go from struggling and feeling overwhelmed to developing confidence and ease with the subject. Central to its appeal is the straightforward design and logical progression of lessons, which effectively demystify mathematical concepts. Users appreciate the curriculum's 'open and go' format, eliminating the extensive preparation often associated with other programs. Parents highlighted that Math Mammoth does not burden students with excessive manipulatives or complicated games, allowing children to focus on understanding the material itself. This aspect is especially beneficial for those who prefer a clear and simple teaching style. Moreover, Math Mammoth is praised for its affordability and thoroughness, making it accessible to a wide range of families. It has also been lauded for introducing foundational concepts like algebraic thinking at an early stage, aiding in the development of mental math skills which can be used in everyday life. The minimalist approach to instruction has resonated with many educators, particularly those aligned with traditional or Charlotte Mason philosophies, as it avoids unnecessary distractions while respecting the intellectual capabilities of children. Overall, Math Mammoth is recommended for both parents and educators looking for an effective, uncomplicated, and engaging math curriculum that encourages independent learning. **
