The NexStar Evolution 8 comes with brass worm gears, clutch locks in both axes for manual movement and has an internal rechargeable battery. The telescope does not come with a barlow lens and higher quality ones are recommended for higher magnification. The telescope does not have an internal GPS but picks it up from the tablet being used. It comes with a hand controller.
