Basic Fun Handheld Games Editorial Review

The Basic Fun Arcade Classics – Ms. Pac-Man Retro Mini Arcade Game is a scaled-down version of the original arcade game. The product comes with different controls than the original model, with no raised buttons, and the electronics are slightly different from the original model, so it's not adapted well for circuit bending. The product has no function to type just words, the five modes of play are detailed on the brand page. The Speak & Spell product is the re-issued learning tablet inspired by the classic of the original. There will be many new releases in 2020 and 2021. There is only the Speak and Spell style offered for Fall 2019. Despite some positive comments from customers who enjoyed the retro feel and the mini-games mode, many buyers experienced issues with the product. Some complained about it not working; others regretted having waited to try it out only to find it malfunctioning and barely working or partially functional with just two buttons. However, one reviewer mentioned that the toy is suitable for young kids to learn spelling and not be addicted to Youtube.
