This ring light is adjustable with strong white light however customers have had mixed experiences, mostly positive. One customer used electrical tape instead of the plastic ring and called the product "the best led for amscope". Another customer had their power adapter break after five months of light use and another had the cable conductors internally open circuit. There were other complaints about the cheap quality and the reflection from the light. Customers complimented the bright white light and how easy it is to use. One customer found it essential for their stereo microscope to avoid variable ambient light, and another had to replace their built-in LED with this ring light for better illumination.
