Anime Editorial Review
Ponyo Steelbook Ponyo is a charming and adorable film that is loved by many fans. This Miyazaki classic is an excellent adaptation of a great story and is perfect for a cozy movie night. The Japanese audio with English subtitles option adds to the authenticity of the film. However, customers have reported some issues with the Ponyo Steelbook edition. Many complaints mention that the steelbook arrived damaged, suggesting neglect during shipping. While the steelbook itself is sturdier than expected, some customers experienced dents and loose discs inside the packaging. Another disappointment is the absence of the exclusive booklet that was expected to be included. Several customers mentioned that their steelbook edition did not come with the eight-page booklet, which was seen in other regular Blu-ray and steelbook releases. This inConsistency in including the exclusive booklet is frustrating for collectors. Despite these drawbacks, the overall Consensus is that Ponyo is a delightful film and worth watching. However, if possible, it may be wise to order from a different vendor or wait and rent the movie to avoid potential issues with the steelbook edition.
