The Sensidyne Gilian BDXII Pump is a reliable and rugged air sampling pump that is designed particularly for abatement and lead applications. The pump can accurately monitor for asbestos and lead using specific NIOSH methods. With a rechargeable NiMH battery pack, it can provide around 10 hours of reliable operation on a single charge. The BDX-II has a filter that protects the internal pneumatics from dirt and debris and the filter is externally mounted. It has a flow range of 500-3000 cc/min and anti-tamper control covers. The built-in rotameter monitors flow rates over the entire flow range and an electronic flow control adjustment minimizes maintenance. It is easy to calibrate. The pump is UL approved for operation in hazardous areas. The sealed flow adjustment and on/off switch protects the BDX-II from moisture, dust and fibers.
