The Thule Pack 'n Pedal Side Frames are an excellent accessory for cyclists who want to attach panniers to their bikes without the need for a traditional rear rack. The frames are sold as a pair and are generally suited for standard bike wheel sizes from 26" to 29" in diameter. However, the fitment to smaller wheels will depend on the positioning of the Thule Pack 'n Pedal Tour Rack that the frames need to attach to. One of the great things about these side frames is their versatility. They can be adjusted to fit a wide range of panniers and bags, although it's important to note that they don't have hooks at the bottom. Cyclists who have bags that require a rack with hooks near the rear dropouts to attach may need to adapt their bags using an S-Hook and pliers to close one side of the S-Hook onto the D-Ring. While these side frames aren't strictly necessary for use with Thule panniers, they are recommended for longer journeys where riders will be travelling with panniers for more than a week.
