Based on customer reviews, the adhesion and durability of the patch are excellent. It keeps water out, which is great for boat covers and other outdoor covers. The adhesive stood up against a rainstorm but it may not work well with all materials. Some customers found that it didn't work on their polyester Yamaha jet boat cover and needed to use a heat gun and a new patch to get it to stick. However, one customer had an issue where the patch allowed water to pass through after it rained, so it might not be a good choice for covers that need to stay completely dry.
