Midsommar is a horror film that follows a group of friends who visit a remote Swedish village for a festival that only occurs once every 90 years. The concept of the film is interesting, but the execution leaves something to be desired. The movie is difficult to sit through, with ridiculous scenes that detract from the story. However, the acting performances are strong and the set design and scenery are beautiful.
